Our Mission
We started Northeast Laser Tattoo Removal in Minneapolis, Minnesota with two goals in mind:
- To provide professional tattoo removal services at a price you can afford; and
- To offer tattoo artists throughout the Twin Cities the opportunity to work with Northeast Laser to lighten tattoos for clients who are seeking a more attractive cover-up tattoo.
Our Unique Business
We are unlike a typical physician office or expensive medical spa. Northeast Laser is the brain child of tattoo artist Aleksandar Nedich and physician Thomas Barrows. We have over 30 years combined experience in our fields and we understand tattoos better than just about anyone. We have a deep understanding and knowledge of tattoo pigment chemistry, tattoo cover-up artistry, laser tissue interactions, and a strong professional commitment to our community. We can eliminate your tattoo if your goal is to clear your skin completely, or work with your professional tattoo artist in the community to fade your tattoo to the point at which a more desirable cover-up tattoo can be performed. About Our Team
Thomas H. Barrows, MD is the medical director of Northeast Laser Tattoo Removal. Dr. Barrows has extensive experience in the medical laser industry and is an expert at laser tattoo removal. He has lectured extensively on medical lasers, laser physics, and laser tissue interactions around the United States and throughout the world. Dr. Barrows is also a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and has participated in the design and manufacturing of medical lasers.
Dr. Barrows is fascinated by tattoo ink chemistry and has become an integral player in the tattoo industry. Northeast Laser Tattoo Removal is pleased to have the guidance of Dr. Barrows in removing your tattoo!
Aleksandar Nedich is a partner and the creative visionary in Northeast Laser. Aleks is a leader in the tattoo industry and a laser technician. Aleks brings 15 years of experience in the tattoo industry to Northeast Laser and has a very strong understanding of tattoo ink and laser tissue interaction. He is also the owner of adjacent Northeast Tattoo and also can provide coverup services if desired. If you love our new laser clinic, then you will have Aleks to thanks; he is not only a skilled artist, but also a superb designer!
Nick Settich is Northeast Laser's principle laser technician. Nick is well-regarded in the community and is engaged in a variety of civic projects. Nick is extremely knowledgeable about laser tattoo removal and has performed hundreds of sessions with great success.
Our New Laser Clinic
We expanded our practice and are proud to announce the opening of our new laser clinic November of 2011. We are still located at 924 Lowry Ave NE in Northeast Minneapolis, but in the adjacent suite. Our new space is comfortable, private, and relaxing. Enjoy our collection of Indonesian artwork on our walls or just relax and listen to our chill playlist while you wait. We are located at the corner of Lowry and Central Ave in Northeast Minneapolis. We offer free parking behind our building with our entrance on Lowry.
